Information on the marina

At the beginning of 2007, the marina complex transferred to the new owner, Johan Dolman, from the previous owner who had lovingly and purposefully run it since 1994 having considerably extended the marina complex. Johan Dolman had previously made his name in water sports with his company, Dolman Yachts International B.V. in Muiden, by importing and exporting highly sophisticated, fast polyester motor yachts for the Benelux countries and Germany and a yacht brokerage business, also based in Germany; he is very driven and motivated, and having sold his previous enterprise, is keen to maintain the level and quality of the services available in the marina complex.

Johan Dolman has set himself the target of upgrading once again the marina facilities such that water sports enthusiasts of all ages who appreciate order, tidiness, hygiene and safety, can feel at ease in the marina.

The marina offers luxury shower, toilet and washing facilities, a launderette, and all moorings have their own electricity supply (6 or 10 Amp.)

The landing stages have drinking water dispensers, fire extinguishing equipment, lifebuoys, waste water disposal and chemical toilet waste disposal, as well as a separate waste recycling system near the marina's parking lot. A wheelchair and a heart defibrillator are also available at the marina, and staff are trained to provide First Aid in the event of an emergency.

Furthermore, to complete the picture, the complex also has a pleasant catering facility. All installations and facilities comply with the environmental and safety requirements of the "Blue Flag" organisation. Hire bikes are available to guests free of charge for shopping or for going on a cycle ride in the surroundings. Young water sports fans can work off energy on various water sports facilities that are also available free of charge. All this is available at a mooring cost that is very competitive by comparison with Friesland, Zeeland, Limburg and the Randmeren polder lakes.

The marina is run by Johan Dolman himself, together with a motivated permanent staff. During the summer, additional temporary staff are hired in response to seasonal demand.

Johan Dolman is aiming to maintain a warm and welcoming atmosphere by means of establishing direct relations between the marina and its guests. There will always be time for a personal chat over a nice cup of coffee or tea in the marina office or outside on the splendid office terrace.
